TSB for TieRod Ends...Anyone have a copy?

there is no tsb for the tie rod ends. but it is a VERY COMMON problem on many fords including the mustang. maybe there was a ssm for the tie rod ends but ford adds and takes away stuff from that database all the time.

there is a TSB to replace the rack mounting brackets. but trust meon this.I HAVE NEVER seen that tsb fix a squeeking while turning concern.it aways has been the tie rods everytime.

mustangs, windstar and taurus have the biggest problems with this ( ford really needs to stop using crap vendor)

that is a good site to pull recalls and tsb's from, great thing about that site is it's public, anybody can go on it. i get most of my info from a internal non public ford website for dealer personal so i can get tech tips and dealer messages that are non public

99 percent of the time it's the tie rod ends causing the squeek. check those first. sometimes the tie rod ends sound more like a creaking unlubricated sound while turning. i highly highly recomend you replace the tie rod ends first. they go bad often and can fail without even making the squeek/creeking noise.
