Hi All,
Is there any bolt-in replacement for the tubular crossmember under the engine on a 68 that is sturdier than the original? Some lazy a$$hole at a tire store jacked the front of my car on mine and my camber was WAY out afterwards (top of tire leaning out).
By the time I drove the ten miles to home, it was almost back to being "in spec". This leads me to believe that the OEM piece is not very strong/stiff. Many of us put on export braces, monte carlo bars, etc. to stiffen the upper side of our front suspension, but I hear very little about addressing the lower side. What are the options/issues?
TIA,
Gene
