Tubular K-member steering shaft questions

I have a tubular k-member in my 93 cobra and the steering shaft that was in it is a junk peice, I have seen this 3 times where the stock steering shaft is not long enough to reach the rack with a tubular k-member I need to know what people have done to get a steering shaft to fit. I know there is an option to buy a flaming river peice but I would like to know other options. Thanks in advance
