Tubular Strut Rods?

What type and how much improvments will I see from replacing my stock strut rods on my 70 Mach with aftermarket (Global West or TCP) tubular strut rods? Is it worth the cost?

I'm going to make my own. The front mount will be like the Cobra Automotive set-up.

I got some used parts on ebay and some new parts from AFCO. Total cost is under $100. A little research can save a lot of money.
