I have gone over the manual for the Predator tuner. It says the tunes should be set to the original when you take it in for maint. Has anyone with customized tunes changed the settings back to the factory settings before taking the car in to the service dept. for work? I would think for something like an oil change it is ok to leave customized tunes on the car.

all depends on your dealer; call 'em and ask them if they're gonna give you a hard time if you install a CAI kit and re-flash (don't let them know you've done it already). My dealer had no problem w/ my kit- they said they'd just have to be able to justify to Ford that anything I modified didn't cause a warranty issue. Oil change should be no problem but if they're pr!cks it might cause trouble w/ future warranty issues.

Thanks I will probably keep the performance tune when I go in for an oil change next month. I will call before I go in.

You can bring in your oil and filter, think they charge $15 just for service. Don't know if that helps lower the price, tho.
