I just had a clutch installed today and they had the power disconnected on my car for most of the day. When I left I noticed my car ran like complete crap. My idle is completely messed up...it' bounces from 900 to almost stalling when I stop...I can feel a bit of "surging" while driving at lower speeds and the exhaust pops a hell of alot more. I have the car custom tuned with a diablo revolution chip. Is this the tune that has to relearn all over again? Is there any procedure that I need to do to help it learn properly? I believe in the past when power was disconnected for a short time my car always idled high, I've never seen it like this before. The tune couldn't of got erased from the chip could it?

The tune is not lost, but the computer has to relearn the iac, for correct idle speed and minimum idle speed, as well the fuel trim needs to be relearned.

after poking around under the hood this morning, I see the inlet pipe up to the throttle body is disconnected partially at the MAF...there is a big gaping hole right after the MAF. Haven't started the car yet but I'm betting that will fix the horrible idle issue and the car can re learn properly now.
