My 05’ Mustang V6 may have a possible SCT tune on it and would like to know if I can remove it? First it had a sct tune emblem stuck on the dash “yuck” and two, the car is telling me that I am only getting 10.1 mpg and when I have a little fun it gets down to around 8 or even 7, three the car is really jumpy when I barely touch the pedal, already goes from around 1200 up to 3000 for example

Typically when a car is tuned, the factory tune is saved on the tuner, so it can be reloaded if needed . I am assuming that a hand held tuner was not included with the car when you bought it. If by chance it was, then it should have the factory tune saved on it an it should be pretty simple to reload it. Otherwise a Ford dealer should be able to reflash the pcm and restore the factory tune. However, and this is important, before you reload the stock tune you have to make sure that there are no other mods done to the car that require a tune. For example does the car have an aftermarket cold air intake? Most aftermarket CAIs require a tune. If you have one that does and you reload the factory tune, the car will run lean which can lead to internal engine damage. So check the car over carefully see exactly what you have as far as aftermarket parts if any and go from there.
It also sounds like the gears may have been changed as well , I would check

Alright thanks! I will definitely give my car a close look at and it didn’t come with a tuner sadly, today I went to back out of my driveway and put it in gear and I pressed down on the gas and the car wouldn’t move, it revved high then took off

That sounds like a transmission issue.

Yea I noticed when putting my car into gear, it sometimes has resistance like when putting it into reverse, it sometimes act as if I don’t have my foot on the brake and won’t move so I had to jiggle it and it works, how much would it be to get a auto transmission maintenanced or serviced?
