Tune-up

well i completly forgot to do a tune up and started buying mods, so what should i do to it?Plugs, wires, Cap and rotor, tranny oil, engine oil. my car has 140,000 miles on it, and i have no records of what has been done to it.

pcv valve and fuel filter wouldn't hurt either. By what you named, you got a good start, and a full afternoon planned

wires
cap & rotor
pcv is cheap and easy to change(right on the back of lower intake)
fuel filter
clean air filter
oil change
dosent hurt to change tranny fluid

also you can run a can of seafoam threw your system, 1/2 in the gas tank and suck 1/2 threw a vaccume line

The PCV is in the back of the lower intake. I recommend only Ford PCV valves. I would replace the grommet, the screen under the valve, and the line to the PCV valve (if it looks vulcanized). I would not bother cleaning the PCV - just renew it and forget about it for two years.

Autolite 25's are for a stock application. 24's are one heat range colder. 25's are what I run.

Dont know on the cap and rotor. I run parts store brass terminal stuff on one and MSD on the other.

Get the pvc valve from ford, its only a few bucks, I use aftermarket MSD or Accell cap and rotor, as well as wires, There is alot of manufactures to choose from, you get what you pay for though, Auto lights are good, I prefer NGK, check over everything else, filters, fluids, hoses, radiator flush, and youll be good to go.
