Just ordered a set of the BBK tuned length shorty headers for my 03 gt. I know alot of people were curious to see the actual gains on these and so am I. I am not going to get a baseline dyno before, but after these I will be getting a dyno tune. I really have no clue what to expect out of her with my mods and a dyno tuned SCT chip but I hope its above 260 to the wheels, that sound reasonable?

They definitly do, if you look at the stock headers, you cant help but understand why you would get some gains. But they definitly dont give as much as LT's. Main reason I went with them is to be able to keep my xpipe and not have to cut it, to me that is worth a few hp.. I'm hoping for 6-10 outta them, will be supercharging her down the road but wont be shooting for more than 370rwhp on this motor, so no need for the LT's

Well I pulled 255 SAE with more mods than you... I dunno if shorties will be enough.

hmm, good deal, I guess only time will tell, either way, I'll post up as soon as I find out. Anyone heard anything about the install on these badboys?

You have to expect some gains but I'd be interested to see how big they are. Post the before dyno and the after dyno with the headers BEFORE they have put the chip in. Then do your dyno tune.
