I am really considering this kit.. but I'm really wondering..

Do I need a tuner?

What exactly makes the tuner so worth that much money? Will I be able to use it effectivly and get any sort of gain out of my 5 speed with the mods in the sig? I will gradually mod and eventually get some sort of power adder.. but in the meantime.. I just don't know that the benefits are worth the cost at this point.

Maybe I'm just really wrong. I have NO clue about a tuner and how to work it, or what it does..

Educate me please!

You're talking about handheld tuners right?

Very intresting read. Some of the options the tuner has I could use. Like the fan temp, and the 02 sensor thing.

So all you do is plug that thing in and it optimizes it.. Will I actually see 15 RWHP right off the bat? I find that hard to believe.

The handheld engine programmer has the following benefits:
-tweak engine settings
-tweak auto trans settings
-datalog
-learn about you engine and auto trans settings

Its not just a performance mod, its a great learning and diagnostics tool which will enhance your understanding of how your car works

Yeah, maybe 15 peak RWHP but overall, it'll be more like 10 RWHP which isn't bad at all.
