is it ok that my dyno tuner here uses diablo chip to do his tunes? i wanted to use sct and reflash the car, but this is what he uses so i have to go with it.

are there any major downsides to having a burnt chip in the car, instead of reflash?

i was thinking the chip is not an adaptive tune, but the reflash is...help me out.

With nitrous you almost have to have a chip. Waiting 30 seconds to a few minutes to flash your nitrous tune is just not practical.

With a chip tune changes almost instantly.

The both will do the same thing, if you want more than one tune I'd get a chip. You can also get a tune burned where the car wont start or with the rev limiter at 2k rpms.

Both are still adaptive in closed loop.
