Does anyone know of any tuners in Arkansas, may be willing to go to Oklahoma or Missouri if its close enough, I'm about an hour from LittleRock and will be needing a tuner in about 2 months. Never dealt with having a tune done so I don't know much about it, do they just reprogram the computer or put a chip in it or what, will I need anything when I go?

Where are you in Arkansas. I know of one in Little Rock that knows mustangs, but if you have a big setup I would go to Memphis. If you tell me where you are I can help you a little better.

Has anyone ever had any experience with Bolt on Performance in Little Rock, they do dyno runs full data logging and are sct dealers so I will probably be paying them a visit pretty soon. Also I have heard that some tuners will recommend certain mafs, like C&L or Pro-M, should I contact them first or just get the one I want, which is the pro-m.

Bolt On is also East End Towing. He helps out our car club on occasion, and we have dyno days there every now and then. He is very knowledgeable about mustangs and as long as you have a mild setup, I would feel comfortable using him. His shop doesn't look like much, but he does know his stuff.

If you have a wilder setup I would recommend Dyno Speed Racing in Memphis.

backfocus, I am 100 miles west of Little Rock, setup isn't big, just a 10.5 to 1 compression 306, 200cc dart iron eagles w/1.94-1.6 valves, anderson n51-hr cam, edelbrock rpm II intake, 70mm throttle body, and either a c&l 76mm or pro-m 80mm maf, I would prefer the pro-m 80, and either 24 or 30lb injectors, haven't decided on the maf and injectors yet, anderson recommends 30lb injectors but everyone I talk to say 24's will be fine, and gonna find out what the tuner recommends for the maf since he will be the one tuning it.

I can't think of the name of the place, but I have heard that there is someone in Searcy that is pretty good. Someone I know had a Lightning tuned over there & supposedly it's decent work. Also there's supposed to be a place in Benton/Bryant that has a dyno. IIRC, that one is a Mustang specialist. Call A-Auto salvage in LR and ask for Brian or David. Tell 'em what you're doing and what your'e looking for and they'll know where to send ya. Pretty smart cookies. Last I heard Brian was moving into a new building & new business called something like LR Performance...or something like that.

Or...you could call Street & Performance Electronics over in N. Little Rock. If they can't help you, they'll know someone who can.

Disclaimer: I have not been near Street & performance in ages so I don't know if there still there or not. My father worked across the street from there so I know at one time they were working out of that location...but tha'ts been over 10 years ago.
