What's youre idle speed? Have you run out of adjustment on the idle speed screw? If you turn the mixture screws all the way in, will it die, or still run?
One possibility is that the primary's are open too far and are exposing to much of the idle transfer slots. to cure this, you need to adjust the seconday idle stop screw to open the secondary's a little more. 1/2 to 1 full turn should do it. You can then back the idle off on the primary side.
The secondary stop screw should be located on the bottom of the carb, on the drivers side. You will have to remove the carb to set it.
The other possibility's are a blown powervalve, or sticky needle and seat. Either one will leak extra fuel into the circuit and cause a rich condition that you can't adjust out.
