well i'm done dealing with a local tuner, and for now i'd like to get a email custom tune. my problem was, after driving the car 20k miles or so - the custom tune would stop kicking the fans on causing the car to run hot. stuck the stock tune back in the car, along with the intake and its fine. thats not the only problem i've had with my tuner though. I was using a JMS intake, its a 89 mm mass air and a open element filter with a stock elbow. The car ran great at times, enough to get a 12.80 on 20's. I'm debating wether or not to get a tune with the stock intake or go ahead and buy another intake. I do plan on going turbo by the end of the summer. Can I still make decent power with the stock intake? I would probably end up buying a K&N for the stock air filter...just trying to save a little money.
