What tuning software(tweecer, Sniper, Moates,etc...) would you recommend that i use to be able to tune multiple cars. seems the tweecer is a one car only deal if i am reading it correctly. Thanks for any input... It appears that the sniper may be the most user friendly

All tuners need to be plugged into the ecu to work, so you can only run one car at a time.
However, none of them (that I'm aware of), are coded to lock to a specific vehicle.... meaning, I can pull the tweecer from my '90 GT install it on my '87 LX and tune both vehicles.

But once the tweecer is pulled from the ecu, the ecu reverts back to the stock settings.
The 'tune' is always stored in the tuning device/hardware.

thats what i thought. The tweecer doesn't allow you to burn a chip to install in the ECU. I need software that will allow me to burn chips

for that you would probably be looking at something like the SCT Racers package. It gives you Advantage (tuning software) and you would have to purchase their chip burner and chips also though. if you need two stangs tuned maybe you could find someone that would be able to burn a chip for the one using your data using a tweecer or moates system and then just use that same tuner system on the other stang

The "tweecer" is a package of both hardware and software.
Moates is hardware only.
CalEdit & CalCon are the proprietary software packages that are delivered with the tweecer.
BinaryEditor is a third party software that can be used with either Moates or tweecer hardware.

You will need a chip and software to program the chip.
The chip MUST remain in the ecu. Pull the chip and the tune goes with it.
The software allows you to record data values (datalog), and to set parameter values in the chip.

I say all this because of the terminology that you are using... which doesn't really look right...
