Can you get a proper tune with say a tweecer or pms with out having to go to the dyno? I've heard of a tool that can help you with A/F raitos, or was I just dreaming. I don't know of a dyno in this area.
me too, i saw a thing that would change the output of the mass air meter voltage? i forget what magazine, i thing mustangs unlimited, but would that allow you to change your a/f ratio? then you have to ask yourself, how do i know when its correct? im to the point where i just gotta break down and get a dyno tune
Is that the Pro-M Optimizer?? I think that lets you change your Maf values...I know they did make something along these lines that went or plugged inline somewhere near your MAF...you could "click" a switch to new values...I looked at it once and then said...naaaa dont think so...
i would think the Tweecer datalogging would show AFR???
for the 40-50 bucks for a dyno pull with wideband O/2s its worth it to me...least you know where your starting from...we have 4 places within a 50 mile radius to dyno...I would think by Cape Cod you would have the same???
You should be able to set 39 vac off, and 14 on the timing and be damn near there...you combos real close to mine and those are the sweet spots...set those numbers, drive a bit and do a plug check...they'll prolly be nice and clean..my recent dyno was dead on from those numbers from 2003 dyno..i did the fox/cobra swap..re-dyno'd this Summer...nothing to change...AFR was right on the money...guy said dont touch it..
