I was told the turbo was the way to go as a performance mod over a supercharger. I was also told it provides more power and is adjustable. And runs about a grand more than a supercharger. I have not seen or noticed any one with this mod but Know they are it is getting more popular. If you have one tell me what you think.

There's a few members with a turbo, tontot77 has a turbo on a cobra i believe....

Turbo and supercharger is about the same price... Remember when you buy a supercharger you get no headers... What fun is that??? Like the twin turbo kit that comes with two t3/t4 turbos... And tubular k member, a arms, coils... You name it... Its on sale now for like 5,800 bucks... You buy a supercharge rkit for like lets say 3,500... Intercooler and all... If you would want more hp you need to send the supercharger back... You need bigger one!!! Turbos crank up the boost!!! Everyone has their own views though...

I went with a turbo because is rare and not alot of ppl have it. There are downsides......the main one is the waiting time it takes to actually get one. They actually fabricate it when you order one so expect to wait to actually get it in. I hope to get mine in soon within the next few weeks. I ordered from PTK www.proturbokits.com and was told 6-8 weeks. So far I've already payed $6000 so far and prob around another $1500 or more to have it installed AND tuned. So I wouldnt go as far as saying its cheaper, but im expecting good results. I believe there are quite a few companys coming out with twin turbo/single turbo kits for our cars. yeah, not cheap, and not easy. if performance is a must however, its better than a supercharger... I'm happy with it.
