Saw/heard it drive by today in down town Hillsboro...Anybody know anything about this car? I was guessing it was just gear noise, but then I heard a blow off valve. It sounded wicked, had a nice cowl hood, a couple graphics/stickers I think...
Though, the guy I am thinking of never had a cowl hood or decals (obviously, that could have changed). The only vette I know with a cowl hood and decals has a 454 solid roller LS2-based engine, with a mountain of nitrous. Although, his is not a fixed roof coupe. Now I am curious who it was you saw. You are sure about the cowl hood?

It was definately a cowl, I saw the car from the side. It could have some kind of scoop in it, but the hood raised above the fenders. It had a very unique exhaust note, not sure why, but I would describe it as gravely...very non-mustang sounding.
I guess it could have also been Ralph from Ground Zero Motorsports. He has had a blue procharged C5 for a long time. If it was him, it sounds like he finally stepped it up on the Vette...
ive seen ralph's c5 at the track last year it was his first hpde and it was super charged very noticable at ldle he left early did feel like doing the rest of the day.
