Here is the deal I just bought a FRPP long block fms-m-6007-x302b to replace my turboed stock blocked combo that gave up. So here is the question, for the time being I only want to make about 450hp. My last combo made 500hp/560ft#. It was a 302 with TFS heads, intake, f303 cam and 7#s from my turbo. The new motor comes with a b303 which is no good for boost so, I am either going to run a stock cam or an f303. The long block is a Boss block, 302CI 9:1, gt40x heads with pedestal mount rockers 1.6, and I will be running a TFS intake. And my Hellion kit will be in charge of the pressure. Just looking for opinions for some turbo guys on which cam they would run stock or f303. I am thinking that the f303 will take less boost to make 450hp but the stock will be smoother and amke all the power at a lower rpm? Does the stock cam have enough lift I will be running the 1.6 rockers.? Any ideas.
