Turbo IS300

how well do you think a turbo IS300 would do? How about once i have all my mods on my stang, how do you think we'll compare?
3.73's, BBK cold air, E-cam, FPR and timing, ported heads and intake(figure i do a semi decent job), shortbelt, air injection tossed, subs in trunk(for traction, of course)

don't know, basically for speculation, i'm looking into the www.is300.net forums and seeing they have some pretty slick times. I'd be scared to race some of them, especially street race.

A lot of their rwhp ratings are pretty close to a stock stang, except a bit lower on torque. They make it up quick with a different cam and turbo though. I've never seen one race with a turbo though. maybe i should invite some to come and race with my friends and me at the track this year

I have once seen a turbo IS300 at the track, i think it went 13.3X @ 105.Xx, it was not too shabby.

there was a yellow is300 at my track not too long ago running mid 12s. talk about sleeper, the thing had different rims and thats it, i thought it was some rich kid just seeing if his car was fast

september 2002 car and driver tested a turbo IS300, it ran a 13.5 @ 112. but then again it was set up for road racing and impressing people, not all out draggin'.

guy remember one thing.....the IS300 sports the nonturbo 2JZ motor (Toyota Supra)...so think about a 4 door supra....thats about what its gonna run

haha, that turbo IS300 i was talking about had a faulty fuel injector and leaned out melting a piston. $20,000 dollars in engine and transmission upgrades and you cant get the injectors right??? give me a break!
