I have a 91 5.0 with explorer gt40 heads and the spark plug angle is pretty steep, is there a turbo kit with headers that will work with this? thanks

Why supercharge if you really want a turbo? 'Cause the heads?

I am sure you could make/have made for you headers that would clear the sparkplugs for a turbo setup.

If you are looking for reliable HP, turbos are a great way to do it, I am not saying a supercharger is not but................

v1 and v2 have to deal with the sound produced as well, correct? (one is SQ or superquiet, the other isnt....it may just be the trim's on the head units though). hellion makes the best off the shelf kit around, also look into ponydown.net and bgturbokits.com for off the shelf/custom stuff.

for blowers:

vortech SC trim and paxton novi 1000: 5-6 psi stock
vortech S trim and " " 2000: 8-10 psi stock

power pipes, upgraded pulleys, and other modifications can change this, but just letting you know. the 5-6 psi kits for for less than 2k, the 8-10 kits are under 3 these days, depending on where you look. the hellion power systems kit is just plain bad ass. 398 RWHP on a bone stock (down to airbox and dizzy cover) vert automatic (eats MORE power than a T5, or any manual) fox. they tend to run anywhere from 3-6 psi on the turbos. the turbocharger would require bigger injectors (more often than not) than superchargers (especially the 1000/SC trim), and require more tuning. for horsepower, turbos are the way to go.
