hp's kit is like $6400? base price

both kits can be upgraded..of course.

i dont know? my dad and i are slowly building up an engine and i really want to beat up on all the ricers on the road and the track and they have turbos and **** so why cant i?
i was planning on a big kenne bell but turbos are more efficient and would produce more power in the long run...dont get me wrong i love superchargers but i would like to turbo it. i think i should just buy a kenne bell for like 4 grand cheaper and put that 4 grand into something else.

well if its going to be a built motor then the mongoose kit isnt a good choice for you.

KB's offer instant boost and a great fun on the streets.

i already have the upr k-member kit so i dont really need the mm member. but that is a really nice piece. and i really want twin turbos because they are different, and i really want to get a lot of hp so i can beat up on all the imports at the track and the streets.

i mean like the subaru's, srt4's, evos and stuff like that who act like they have fast cars. its only because they have a power adder and we gt owners dont most of the time. i wanna be able to just completely rape them in a race. thats why im doing all these mods...just to F with them.

They act like they have fast cars b/c it is faster that ours stock. I know of quite a few srt 4's around here that will give a blower 2v a run for its money. Thats a pretty vague statement and just a general blank statement you made there.

Fact is, your going to need a lot of work to keep up with a serious srt or evo, (evos here run deep 12's with little work). Sounds more like your just a bored kid trying to be an internet warrior.

If you are serious, do a TON of research and you can build your own turbo kit much cheaper than you can buy one, or if your not that handy of a guy, pony up and buy a complete kit. They are pretty straight forward and if you can turn a wrench you can install it.

Oh and I hate to say it but we own mustangs, not a lot you can do that is different (other than rice them out). Twin turbos has been done many times so don't choose it b/c you think its different. Centi and roots/twin screw blowers are much cheaper and can acheive great #'s with them.

Now, leave the ricer bashing to other and lets hear some serious goals from you. (serious means a time or hp # to hit, not just wax ricers).

Sorry to sound harsh but I think you need to step back and really think about what you are doing. Make a budget for what you want, then double it.

bored kid? ummmm. my dad and i installed all my mods on my mustang by ourselves in our shop, with a hoist. dont tell me my dad or i cant build up and engine and throw boost at it. you dont even know me or who i am. im not just some bored kid trying to be an "internet warrior"...i never once payed anyone to do any work for me...my dads been building engines since he was a kid. he knows whats hes doing when it comes to building engines.

i know you have to upgrade everything to handle 500+rwhp. fuel pump, fuel rails, injectors, and so on. you will need a clutch, flywheel, and some other stuff as well. plus you cant just run stock suspension with all that hp or youll just spin. also, youll need to upgrade your rear end with a heavier duty differential with some heavy duty axles so you dont twist your axles upon launch.

im not just some retarded kid who puts wings and $hit on my car. my car's body is stock and i dont rice it out. i already set my goal and set my budget for what im going to do. twin turbos are more efficient than a roots type supercharger but you get the turbo lag, unlike with a roots blower when you get instant boost. i know what the difference between a centri and a roots blower are. im not as retarded as you people think. i actually install my stuff by myself with my dad instead of going the easy way out with paying someone.

dont be sorry, people think im a tard most of the time anyways. i have set my goals for what im going to do with my car over the next couple of years...im just sick of all the imports beating american muscle. i know what im doing with my car.

but thank you, so much kind sir for telling me i cant have a fast car. thank you for calling me a "internet warrior" where i only was looking for information on turbo kits.
