I was just wondering if anyone has heard or ran turbo mufflers on their gt with an o/r h pipe? I currently have some flowmasters on it, not sure which ones they were on there when i bought it. I'm looking for something thats gonna be a little deeper and not as raspy... i was just wondering how some turbo mufflers would sound. i would like to keep it decently loud but not as loud as it is now. Thanks for the input guys!

I have a brand new set of Dynomax Super Turbos with my O/R X pipe. It's decently loud. I ditched the flowmasters too because it was just too damn loud and not in a good way, louder than my Fox with full exhaust and ported heads. I must just be getting old.

I would go for the Dynomax Ultra Flows next time.

The dynomax superturbo would sound similar to the stock exhaust, but a little but louder. I have one on my 88 and it is very quiet, yet would flow a lot more than the OEM muffler.
If I were to ever swap to aftermarket mufflers on the 97, I would definately get the dynomax superturbo. It is probably the quietest of the aftermarket mufflers, and won't have any resonation. I drive my car too much to put up with a blow-master, or other muffler that resonates.
I ran a dynomax ultra flo on my 88 when it was naturally aspirated too. It was quite loud with no cats and had a very deep aggressive sound. It also resonated at certain rpms.
