TURBO SYSTEMS, WHO DO YOU LIKE?

I'm sure you could find some pics of them on TM.com, but I don't have any handy.

Their street kits use a log style header on one side (driver for foxes and passenger for SN's) with a rear crossover from a stock style header on the other side. The crossover pipe fits in the gap between the oil pan and the bellhousing at the rear of the motor.

I agree their web site sucks, but believe it or not it's actually a lot better than it used to be ;)

I can't look at pics on Turbo Mustangs because it wont let me log in. I have tried to regester 3 different times with 3 different user names and e mails and the same thing happens every time. I get the e mail from them, click the link and then go to log in and it says you have not recieved the validation e mail. Stupid POS! They must know I am was a nitrous guy. :bang:

shoot me a PM with the user name you want to use and I'll fix you up.

you should have said something before ;)

I don't know if i'd call the twin kit a "street kit" but it would work fine on the street if you're OK with manual steering, no emmisions and no AC ;)

Agreed. I guess I have gotten to the point where any system with an air-to-air intercooler is a "street" kit in my mind. And yes, I am fine with manual rack, no A/C and no emissions stuff. I should be installing the manual rack soon.:D

hook it up!

Thats what I thought! My best 60' time is like 1.79. I run slicks, have aftermarket adjustable control arms but don't know what to do about making it hook harder. Need more seat time and knowledge on rear suspenion setup. Once my car lift get here I will start to play with adjustments and take notes.
Thanks everyone.

To get your car to hook better you need to fix the geometry issues that our 4 link rears have. Drag springs/shocks can only go so far. The instant center of the fox 4 link is actually behind the car!

You can spend a lot of money on things like kits from team Z motor sports and such or DIY. If fabbing is your game, you can make aniti squat brackets ala William Mathis and/or change the angle of the upper control arm by welding a new mount lower in the car. If you want cost effective bolt ons those jegster UCA relocaters look good (never used them so I can’t really say), as do those megabite rear LCA (essentially the same as an aniti squat bracket).

If you want it to handle well too you can always do the torque arm panard bar thing… and I think evolution motorsports is hawking a three link these days…

John, 12.10 was with the bottle, that was my second pass ever with nitrous and in this car. I have it on film and I can hear the long shifts. I need to get a shift light installed. I was running it into the rpm band way to high, no power up there so I'm just wasting time, literaly.

hrm... maybe I wont need a few lengths after all :D I think once I do a c4 swap and the other swap I'm either going to have Jon or Jeff custom build me a system, just gotta decide who it'll be :D that and I may try and fab one up myself
