Well this turbo seems to be finding all my weak links...lol
I busted my rearend on street tires, when I yanked the diff cover out came the spider gears in about 20 pieces.

So long Moser 28 spline axles, stock diff, and 3.73s time to upgrade!

The 3.73s have been on my list to ditch as they are abit much with the turbo.

Strange 31s in, 31 spline diff from a 04 Cobra with carbon fiber clutches, and I also did a gear swap to 3.27s. Didnt finish till 4am and had to work at 6am...yeah it sucked.

Anyways the turbo loves these gears, felt like I gained 50rw. Turbo and load is a match made in heaven, the 3.73s just blew by...now I can stay in the rpms abit longer and enjoy it.

Damn Chris, I can't believe the 28 spline stuff lasted this long. I can't wait to see the pics, but I'm sorry to hear that it let go.

nice man. I hear ya on the gears, i switched from 3:73's to 3:27s also and wow what a difference!

someday i will have enough power to destroy my spider gears. You do know that you could have used the stock carrier and added 31spline spidergears summit sells right?

Haha yes Green dont think I'd be doing all this work and a gear swap if I wasnt familar with the rear, I got the 31 diff for 100$...much easier imop, and I like getting new parts hehe.

Bosko thinks a month....he seems to not know the history on this car, shes been a trooper.

Currently dunno the power I'm makin on the turbo but its quite abit more than the T-trim

Actually we hit a record last night, coldest temp in 30 years seriously, my pipes even froze had no water this morning.

Still no pics...just some busted spider gears anyways.

Do not let Eades fool you, it is not cold here. And where did you get a nice set of 3.27 like that. Chris man Ill be out there soon. Can't wait to see the cars. I know you been putting alot of hard work in them.
