Do you think it will be well worth the investment to put new heads on a turbo stang? I am getting a 60-1 which should be enough to split the block(properly tuned) and i'll be building a custom upper intake, exhaust, etc. but i don't think it should be necessary to replace the heads that i previously ported and polished (never got to run with them). Do you think i should just up the boost, or try to get some better heads to make better use of the same boost?

I agree, if you keep the E7's definitely work over the exhaust ports.

I'm SLOWLY building my own turbo car out of a 90GT. Its going to be a single turbo'd STOCK LONG BLOCK with a C4 which I already have. The reason is that it should run mid to low 11's and make 400rwhp+ when I'm done. I don't want the expense of an aftermarket head and I don't want enough power to split the block. I decided to go this route instead of turbo'n my '95 because I knew even with mild boost levels I'd be into block splitting territory.

I would not go over to much on the exhaust ports. You want to keep your low end for that tire burning torque.
