Turbonator!

edit: This is a quote from the website...
"I purchased two Turbonators for my Chrysler Sebring and immediately noticed the increase in power. It was more than I expected. I am already noticing the improved gas mileage. I like them so much, I am ordering two more for my brothers. Now, it feels like my car has a turbo charger."

I have some ocean front property just south of Pheonix that I can let go really cheap. The only reason I'm selling it is because I need more money for gas.

Yes those things are crap and I also remember reading about a fox body a couple of years ago that had electric leaf blowers on it only thing was because they were electric they also created an emense amount of heat.
Cooler intake charge = more power

Something I also learned while working at the wonder world of sears.
Electric leaf blower create less CFM than the gas blower even if they blow at a greater speed.

I have turbonators in TEH exhuast AND the intake. They'z some phat $hit! I might put some mo in TEH intake so I can race more faster. I will smoke anything with only one turbo cuz o_0. Turbonators in the exhuast AND TEH intake combined are like having 3 twin turbos!! It's some trick stuff yo! W0rd!!

Here's my car peeps!

i just talked to my father about the "turbonator" he was actually intrested, said the priciple was right, ANY drop in atmospheric pressure would be better than nothing, and in theory it COULD work, i doubt as good as they say, but some. Then i mentioned somepeople put leaf blowers on their cars, but it doesnt work. He then said he would like to see someone put a gas leaf blower, with an air/to air intercooler filled with liquid nitrogen, the added pressure (even if its just 1 lb), and cooler intake temps COULD = more power. He's crazy thogh.

I'm thinking that if I put 8 turbonators in each runner on my intake manifold, that will make me have, like, a V16, sort of, totally.

I love teh turbonator. I am teh gay!!1!

Matt, you are not dealing with 1 ATM. The inlet is under vacuum already.

Popular Mechanics had a nice article in a bunch of these things a month or so ago. They tried one device which ended up catching on fire.

Matt, on your video, I half expected to see a massive explosion as those cars lean out with an untuned and unpredictable blast of air and nitrous. At least they were all standing well clear of the engine, and didn't stick their hands within dangerously close range!

Under full throttle, it would be in open loop. Hence the computer is not adjusting the air/fuel mixture actively - it's just blindly operating off stock fuel curves. (right?)

So the computer would have no idea that you are cramming more air (or nitrous) in there.

intresting. What about making a leaf blower engine to run off of a pulley? You could mount it where the smog goes, or something like that. That might be pretty cool.

ok here is an idea....mount a gas leaf blower under the hood, and attach the throttle from that to your car's! then you would have to go pull the cord, and you get more boost as you give it more throttle. The problem is.....boost=fuel=bad gas miledge
