Like the title says. After a little more than a week I've finally got both turbos on my car and in position. All I need to do is some grinding on the PS bracket so my oil line will clear for my drivers side turbo, run some drain lines, and dump the exhaust straight down, wrap the headers then I can finally drive my car again I'm going to be running an N/A turbo setup for a little bit until I can afford injectors and a TwEECer then I'll run boost through my car. Heres a few pictures of both the turbos mounted and one of just the drivers side turbo.

dude congrats, but why not stick this all in one thread?

LOL

Also, disconnect that alternator cable(running next to your PS pressure hose), and then just twist that hose more out, so it can be on the bottem end.

Compredo?

That is too cool Zach. I know what it's like to be coming towards the end of a long (aggravating) project. But all those gripes are going to evaporate the first time to start her up. Once you get everything tuned and running and you stomp on it for the first time, they'll have never even existed. I envy you right now.

And speaking of which, you've got me rethinking my engine setup. I was just going to go the large single kit for ease of accomplishment, but now I'm leaning back towards the DIY TT setup. Considering our relative proximity, once you get it all finished up, I'd love to drive up and take a look at it, if you don't mind.

Not that I would, but can you imagine dual T76's on a stroked aluminum block??? Ohhhh Mama.

Dan, why not just do what mike did and do a singly DIY turbo? Twins cause twice the work (kinda) I'm wishing I would have just done one bigger single turbo but this is almost done I sent ya a PM, let me know how it sounds

Lookoing Pretty Tight!
I know polishing is not the first thing on your mind right now.

But you should sand down and polish the area I highlighted in with the yellow area to make it look like the piece with the blue arrow. You could probably knock that out in about 15 minutes.

Keep it up!

Wow, you really have got this done quick. Most people take forever to do DIY turbos.

It's my daily driver Only took a week off of work and have to go back monday and its still not done... oh well.

RC, I dont feel like polishing anything right now, so I sent that bracket through the bead blaster then primed and painted it with gloss black 500 degree paint.

***update***

I hope to have it running tomorrow! Going to run the oil drain lines into the pan, put my MAF and filter on then I should be able to fire it up OK... I dont want to hear anyone complain about changing their plugs anymore. When you go to change yours and they are giving you a hard time... remember it could be worse and remember this picture.

Heres both turbos mounted, the pass side wastegate isnt on because I broke off a tap inside one of the holes trying to clean it out Cant wait until I get to drive my baby again... Been almost 2 weeks so far! Heres how she sits right now
