Howdy,

The turn signals on a friend of mines 93 mustang just stopped working and I'm having trouble getting them going again. I tried fooling around with the contacts in the turn signal switch to see if that would fix the problem but that only made it worse. That sucks because a new switch is like 85 bucks. :notnice:

Is there any chance that it could just be the flasher? I know there are two of them and if I can find them I am going to change them and see if that solves the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so can you tell me how you fixed it. I guess I should also ask you where the flashers are located.

Thanks, wish me luck.

hmmm check the two grounds up front of the car that are screwed to the rad support frame. If that ground is faulty, the hazards will/might work but the flashers won't. I had a simular problem and after searching for a while I found it was the ground. Also check all the lights to make sure they all work and check the grounds.

i had the same problem about a month ago.. for me it turned out to be the turn signal relay was bad.. ive heard of them being all over for different years but i know in my car it was behind the glove box and to the left.. its a little blue solaniod.. just buy a new one and replace the old one.. easy 5 minute fix.. hope that helps

while you were messing with the multi function switch, did you check for juice coming into the switch? if no juice, then there is atleast something else at fault (than the M.F. switch).
