Turn Signal Won't Cancel

I replaced my turn signal switch with wiring harness in my '65 mustang to fix my directionals which were not cancelling after making a turn. Seems the problem though is in the back of my wood grain steering wheel which is without the ring on the inside hub. Haven't been able to locate the part.

There is a ring that slides over the back of the wheel that has two tabs ,the tabs cancel the signals .

Surely someone hear who has switched to a Grant or other aftermarket wheel has one. I may but I'll have to look for it.

I probably do have one ,but i couldn't even guess where it would be
