i have a 68 coupe, 289, auto, ps, pb, a/c. I have a problem with the turn signals blowing fuses. It will go weeks or even monthes with no problem then suddenly blow a fuse. All of that wiring seems to be original. I re-wired the head lights to work on relays to remove load from the light switch and ignition switch a couple years ago. But i don't think the 2 are related. I did install a new a/c couple years ago also but the compressor and fan is wired on relays also to remove load. The fuse is a 14 amp in the fuse holder under the dash right above thegas pedal. I can't see where anything else is affected by the fuse blowing. I have good wiring diagrams and have looked them over and can't see anything else on that circuit that might cause a problem. Radio is on a seperate fuse so it's not that.

I just thought i would throw in out there to see if any of you guys have had a similer problem. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

start by checking the wiring harness for frayed wires, bad connections, etc. chances are that you have a corroded connection somewhere that is increasing the resistance in the system and drawing more power than the fuse can handle.
