Turned 100,000 this weekend.

The car still seems pretty stout for having that kind of mileage too. I have a quick question for you S/C guys out there. With that kind of mileage on a car, how safe would it be to throw a supercharger on it??? I was going to do the PI headswap, but for another 2-3k I could go with a S/C. I know I would have to have a leakdown test but what is the highest percentage of leakdown that I could go and safely run it? 20%? Or would I be better off just rebuilding the engine first? Thanks guys!

Congrats! I passed that milestone recently myself.

I say do a compression test and if everything reads ok, then slap a blower on it. Just make sure you get a good safe tune. Remember, hp doesn't kill motors, detonation does.

Your fine just don't run to much PSI into it. It will blow sooner or later.
