turned down cobra seat swap...

so im getting my cobra bumper painted and put on (pics soon to come) and one of the body shop workers has an 03 cobra so he comes up to me and we start talking stang for a bit. he offers to swap his cobra seats for my GT seats, and they seem to be in good conditon but i didnt do it. i would have done it, but i dont like the stitched cobra on the seats, and think itd be pretty gay to start putting snakes on my GT.

Those seats are SWEET, but having snakes on the seats in your GT, or anywhere for that matter would be pretty GHEY!!! & my other question is why would some1 want to trade some 03 Cobra seats for stock GT seats?

Are you kidding? GT guys pay $1000 to get a set of cobra seats. You screwed up bad man.

You've got to ask yourself, why would an '03 Cobra owner want to swap out his seats for a set of regular GT seats in the first place? Maybe they're damaged?

ok guys...it just doesnt add up. why would this guy swap cobra seat for my GT seats as an even trade..something had to be wrong with them.

also they were in pretty good condition, but nowhere near the flawless condition of my seats.

AND i just talked to the shop owner...apparently this guy had a GT, and did a COMPLETE cobra conversion, engine and all. so its not even a geniune cobra...who knows if the seats are even OEM.

I've gotten nothing but compliments for these. IMO these are MUCH better than the stock GT seats. One of my favorite mods to date.

The seats in our GT's are like sitting in cardboard compared to the Cobra seats, I would have done that swap in a hurry.

Then if i didn't want them, i'd sell em for $1000 and buy another set of GT seats for 300-400 and pocket $600 profit.
