I actually like the Gt seats. I think they are very comfortable. I condition mine weekly so they are very soft. Everytime i have friends in the pass seat, they say how soft the seats are. I do notice if i fall behind on conditioning, esp in the winter then dry up and start to develop cracks and feel stiff. A few weeks of conditioning works out the wrinkles and gets them soft again
I do like the Cobra seats better, but since everyone hates the Gt seats so much, i can find them cheap. I'm currently looking for another set of dark charcoal leather seats for my 5.0, so if anyone in New england has a set let me know!

OK...I take it back...Your cars not GHEY. U actually have one of the best cars on stangnet, & those seats look sick. BUT...having Cobra snakes on a GT is like wearing bootleg Jordans. I guess on the interior it doesnt matter that much.Everyone on here has to admit that when u see a regular Stang with Cobra emblems on the fenders or "Cobra" embossed on the back bumper, it bothers you a little.
It wasn't that GT seats felt uncomfortable to me. My problem was the lack of support. They didn't feel like something that belonged in a sports/performance car. Hell, I remember sitting in a chick's Acura and immediately noticed how much more supportive and sporty those seats were.
If I could have everything my way, I'd delete the Cobras. But it's not possible so I've learned to deal with it.

Actually i have Mach 1 brakes. They are blank!
But i could care less if they said Cobra, they are a step up from the crappy Gt brakes.
in all honesty, what seperates my car from an 01 cobra besides the vin number now?

It's all about the name. It doesnt matter if your car is 100% mechanically identical to a Cobra. SVT owners detest ppl who label their Mustangs a Cobra, even if it does have a 4V engine. I personally think it's silly getting bent out of shape over what someone else does to their car. But at the same time, I would never call my car something it isn't, even if it was a perfect clone.
