Turning Right = Stall

I have an 86GT that I just purchased from a friend. It has mostly been setting for the last five years, so when I test drove I and it would just randomly cut out, I blamed it on bad gas.

After getting some good gas it would still do the same thing, but I've narrowed it down to just when I turn right. It seems to run fine with the exception of this one problem, when it stalls I just clutch it and dump and it fires right back up. I can turn left all day...also I noticed when I turn the right blinker on, it stalled twice before I could turn the blinker off.

*1986 GT (3.73's are the only mod I know of).
*5 speed
*Full tank of gas
*Only seems to occur when turning right or the blinker on

Any ideas? All input is appreciated!

I'd probably take a look at the ignition switch and its wiring - if for inspection's sake if nothing else.

If the fuel issue is really starvation, a baffle in the tank might be broken. The turn signal aspect made me think it might be electrical instead.

Good luck.
