My 363 took 11 psi to clear 600 rwhp.

What is the rest of the car? rear end, brakes, cooling, suspension, trans, fuel and most importantly block?

Making 600 rwhp is not all that hard, doing so reliably and repeatably takes a good bit of cash.

my 363 with an old school Precision 76GTS with all the supporting parts made over 950 rwhp (26psi) and through a 3" down pipe. I hope you have equal amount of time, patience and money for your build

Block is stock I know shocker it won't hold the 600 but I'm gonna try its got scat crank eagle h beam rods Ross Pistons. Edelbrock 185cc with valve job. Systemax intake 30 lb injectors stock fuel lines and rails (will be swapped when installing turbo). Upr suspension coilovers up front and out back with double adjustable uppers and single adjustable lowers. 275/40/17 nitto nt05r tires. The car is built to have a power adder with an 8.5:1 compression ratio. Cooling is stock with a 180* thermostat and a fluidyne 3 row radiator.

Oh and a trick flow stage one can which will be swapped out and getting a custom cam when I do the build no sense in having it in now when there isn't a power adder

The pt 7175 was exactly what I was going to use, but the bb version was just too pricey for me. I think the .96 would be just right for a 347 from all the reading I've done.. but again. . Check the turbo forums and verify the combination over there. Guaranteed someone over there is using it and they are happy to chime in with advice. The place is priceless.

The rest of you combo is not going to support 600 rwhp.

not enough fuel system
no mention of trans, assume stock t5
rear end gears/axles?
stock brakes?

what about ECU I guess a custom chip also just because its low compression that does not make it "built for boost" my motor is 9.3:1 which is higher than stock and it was indeed built for boost. Often times low compression motors are lazy and somewhat dogish down low. Also not a fan of putting higher end parts into a stock block, remember the block is the weak point and can and often will destroy all those nice internals when it lets go.

As mentioned you need to get to the turboforums and read,

The block will stay together....for awhile. How long? @600rwhp not very long. Are you sure your compression is that low? Might want to spend the "turbo" money on a good block/fuel system first.

Forgot moser 31 spline axles 03-04 cobra front brAkes upgraded discs in the rear 11.5". Transmission is a c4 manual valve body with a brake rated at 675 ft. Lb. of torque and @GroverDill I mentioned that I knew the fuel system was not enough and that I was going to be upgrading to support the added air. This is also not 600 to the wheels either this is 650 to the crank so roughly 570 to the wheels or possibly less. Also stock rails can support 42 lb injectors will will support in the 650 bhp range.

Yes @A5literMan im positive the compression is that low because that's how I had it built.

Any possibility of milling the heads to bump it? Not a huge problem(8.5cr) but like Grover stated low cr motors tend to be a little lazier. Again this would be less of a problem if it were a race motor and you could stage with the turbo already spooling a little. even @ your proposed power level the block is going to be a concern. Id probably sell/trade/swap into a block upgrade first. But again I just spent a bunch of cash on my stock block/build. Lol

I only drove mine about 100 miles this year. But I plan on driving the crap out of it this summer. Your block will probably be ok for awhile if you stay in the moderate boost range and keep the rpms under 6k.

If you keep an eye out on the corral they become available at a good price. You could order a new block and swap everything over.?
