twisted wedge heads and valve cover issues

For the longest now, though I have re adjusted my valves time and time again, they still make noise. I thought that it was me, but I do not believe that any more. I have 1.6 roller rockers and they are the adjustable type. But I am using stock valve covers. I am wondering if anyone else had clearance issues between the rocker arm and valve cover. By the way I do have the baffle from the filler neck side removed.

i am using stock valve covers from an 86 with twisted wedge heads. Did you grind out the inside of the valve cover? I'd think that if the rockers are making contact with the valve cover wouldnt you hear more than just a "noise"
