I have a 65 v6 and when i brake i can hear like a clicking sound . Its not too loud .
Any ideas of what the problem is ? The brakes work good tho .

My second little problem is that when i hit the left turn signal the front shows hazard but the rear shows the left turn signal . . . . . any idea ?

Thanks for your time .

Lotta things could make the brake sound, you'll have to inspect them.

Hazard? The 65 did not normally have hazard lamps, unless they were dealer installed. The parking lamp also contained the turn signal. 66 and later used the turn signals for hazard lamps.

I dont think it has Hazards but i think there is like a wire touching or something . when i hit the right turn signal they are normal and the right one is also brighter than when i hit the left signal and shows both lights light up and blink at the same time in the front but not as bright as the right . thanks for your help .

I would take a look at replacing the turn signal switch. if it's never been done before it's a 40 year old piece and a good place to start. Just make sure when replacing it that you mark which wires go where for an easy install.

The sad but fun part of older cars is that sometimes things are a mystery so you just start troubleshooting until something works then you've figured it out. I would say to start there or check the wiring to the individual front parking lights. Maybe even change the bulbs.

The turn signal switch is like 50 bucks from CJponyparts. I replaced mine in my '66 while rewiring my entire car and it installed easily.

Sounds like poor continuity or bad ground in the park lamp.

I recently inspected the brakes and every thing was ok i found a broken brake adjuster cable but i replaced it . The clicking noise stopped for about two days then came back today . I inspected them today and every thing is fine . Any other ideas of where the noise is coming from ?
