Ok...problem numero UNO!

I have an after market cd player in my stang and now there are two cds stuck in the 1 disk player... WTF?! Some retard friend jammed another one in there while one was playing.... anybody know how i can get this out safely? I tried poking at it and maneuvering it with a pocket knife but can't really get it...

ok...problem numero DOS!

my buddy's 2002 mercury cougar is blowing cold air out of only the pass side air vent... anybody know how the heck thats happening? Is there a motor that controls air flow and traffic that could have gone out? I'm not very knowledgeable on ac systems so any help will be appreciated. I'm planning on getting a new compressor for my mustang when i can afford it.

On a side note, wheres the coil (or whatever its called) located on our cars and what does it do?

thaaanks,

for the first problem, make your friend buy you a new CD player if its breaks.

second problem....no clue

you mean like the TFI coil? That's just located right on top of the power steering/ac bracket. it provides the spark--goes to the distributor then out to the spark plug wires.

by coil i meant ...well i'm not sure lol, i could have sworn our the A/C system include like a ....fan coil or something of the sort along with a compressor. But like i said i'm not too familiar with the ac.

HISSIN: i'm pretty sure the cougar doesn't have two AC zones. The backseat is very small so i doubt it.

I meant that the passenger and driver can each have different temp settings for their individual HVAC zones. I doubt it but I have not worked on a newer Cougar so it was worth asking.

The condensor for AC systems is referred to as a coil by engineering types. There's a coil in the WOT relay.
The flyback diode in the AC clutch wiring can look like a coil when looking at schematics. That's about all I can think of regarding the coil reference.

Good luck.

On the cd player, pull it out and take the top part off. There are normally between 2-4 screws that hold it down. You should be able to see the cd when you do this. Just be real careful and you can work the top one out and the second, if something didn't get messed up, should come out when you eject it. It is not to bad to get them out when they are stuck. Hope this helps.
