Looking for photos and recommendations for two-tone combos using Dark Red & Black with off the shelf products.
I currently have the original White/Ivy Gold pony combo on a Black '65 Fastback.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the compliments, the wheels are 17" Coys. The back of the AC is far away from the gas pedal.

I ran across these combos and am leaning towards a combo one closer to the 05 interior.

What do you think?

Honestly, same as I said on VMF, IMHO, don't like the look. Do all red or everyhing black with the two toned Black/White seats and custom Black/white door panels if you want two-tone.

Don't forget, the black from Ford is really a deep charcoal gray.

TMI recently came out with a 2 tone pony interior kit and one of the combos was red with carbon fiber (looks black) inserts. Looked really nice for a clean restomod look, you may want to check it out as an option before popping for anything custom. I like both pics posted, but definately think the 2005 has the right balance. Not to mention, I'm not crazy about a red dash, but it's all personal preference. Post some pics when you get it done.

Wow, that looks great!
Now I'm confused...does anyone have more pictures of a white and black combo....or even a white interior with black carpet?

This is alot more difficult of a decision than I had originally expected....

Thanks in advance!

I'm also interested in changing the color of my interior. Currently it is the standard black and I would like to go with a pony two-tone. The car is a '66 coupe and going to be red or marroon with a black (I could change this too) vinyl top. I am going to have it painted inside and out so now is the time to change colors. Anyone done the '66 red and white and still left some black accents (dash pad, steering wheel, console, etc.)? Should I paint the inside black or match the outside of the car? pics? decisions, decisions......

If the car is going to be red, the perfect combo would be a red/white pony interior. Dashpad and carpet should be red, black would look out of place, and why introduce a third color. Panels should be red, steeering wheel can go either way. Console should be red. Headliner could go either way, white would look sharp, but red would be more consistant with theme. Inside should be red.

Maroon with Red interior, personally . . . yuk.

Thanks. The interior is currently black. That is the only reason to keep some of it black for now.

The '66 red is darker, yes? almost a marroon is that true? I think I wouls get the interior in hand befor I picked the paint color anyway so that could match it. Any picks of the dark red/White pony interior anyone?
