typhoon intake and valve covers

I have a typhoon intake 70mm adapter and 70 bbk TB.
do i need an intake manifold spacer to fit the Ford racing tall polished aluminium valve covers, or does that intake already have enough clearance? also are there any issues with the filler and what sort of cap is best as ive heard some leak on those covers or so im told?

There should be enough clearance...I have the Fox VC's which are slightly taller, but Im not even close to touching the intake.

welcome to stangnet. i remember you from corral. we talked a few times.

i have the same intake but not installed yet. i currently run fox valve covers.

which valve covers are you interested in getting.

you may have to run a spacer even with this intake for those tall bastards
