lmfao everyone is so brutal

Anyway typhoon has some good products but I don't personally think $800 is worth 10-15WHP (intake,plenum/TB). For $800 you can get some 3.73 gears and you WILL feel a difference with those.

800 for gears? WTF!!!

My entire 31 spline rebuild including labor is only 850.

That's gears, axles, rebuilt ford diff. all new bearings seals, shims, welded torque boxes, and axle tubes.

someone needs to make a forum sticky that says stay away from Typhoon products. They suck and are over priced.

Depends on where you live and who installs it. My gears were like $600 installed.

Axles: $300-400 (For both)
T-Loc: $250
Bearing kit: $100

^I don't know how you got all of that INSTALLED for $800. CA prices are a lot higher I guess..

205 forged 31 spline axles with new axle bearings, seals, and studs
140 rebuilt 31 spline explorer tloc rebuilt myself kit came with modifier extra clutches
80 bearing kit with shims and seals
3.73 gears used for 60 bucks
24 fluids
--------------------------------------------------
507
350 labor install and welding tubes and boxes.

It's not going to be installed until next wednsday. He wanted 300 without welding and 350-400 to weld the tubes and boxes also.

First time I have ever paid someone to work on this car.

Well you got the gears used and prolly picked up the trac-lock at a junk yard to rebuild (nothing wrong with that). But it would cost you a little more if you got all new parts.

Like I said, CA is sky high on prices. I know for a fact any shop in my town would charge at least $400 for labor. And that doesn't include welding the tubes/boxes.
Anyway, glad you saved some $$

Well its produced by professional products. I have their 75mm Tb and plenum! For the price I'm very happy. But I have heard to many horror stories to trust their typhoon intake.

I had one of their polished 4 barrel intakes on 302 I had. Looked great, ran good, and the price was right.
