2016 GT premium automatic, bama tune, CAI, Borla exhaust, IRS cradle lockout, vertical links. Ever since I started modding I’ve had nothing but problems.

So in my never ending quest to stop wheel spin, planning on getting wider wheels and stickier tires. Wrong time of year obviously(gonna be raining in CA soon). Had MT street comps, which SUCK ASS btw, and started noticing my car was pulling left every time I punched it. Like near death sideways left. Rear right tire at tread level 3, figured it was that. Put the P zeros back on to get through winter today. Punch it again and same swerving left.

I was always having problems off the line if I punched it too hard ever since I tuned. Modded my driving, slower off line but stable. Never had this problem with WOT pulling left when I was already in motion. This has only happened since the lockout and links were installed. I went with Delrin bushings. Have read that it’s possible to break a bushing, causing car to pull left. Could this be what I’m dealing with?

Seriously considering pulling the CAI, tuning back to stock, driving to Ford and eating over the mess I’ve made.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...feel like I’ve ruined my car.

That sucks! Sorry to hear that is going on! If I were modding, I would hope things got better and not worse!

After installing the links, did you get an alignment?

After lockout and bushings, did wheel hop resolve or significantly reduce?

I’m shooting from the hip and am no expert, but you were asking for any ideas, so here is my thinking:

If the car is slightly out of alignment and you have less or no wheel hop, maybe the car is hooking up better but pulling off course because it isn’t aligned?

Or maybe it is simply hooking up better and sliding due to road crown?

Good luck to you and I hope you get it resolved.

Yes alignment was done after suspension mods. When cruising at moderate to high speeds the car stays straight. It’s only when I slam throttle to the floor.

Wheel hop was never a major issue compared to wheel spin, but I did the mods anyways hoping it would plant the rear better. Minimal improvement at best.
