Ok, thanks guys. Luckily I work for a company that casts and welds iron, and I know a couple of our welders very well. It will be a PITA to get the engine to work to have it done, but best to do it right.

Thanks, I'll leave the JB weld in the cabinet.

I bought a car and both the bottom ones were broken off. I ran bolts all the way thru and put a locknut and washer on the other side . Not as good as welding, but better than before when nothing was there at all.

put the bolt in with alot of anti-size on it, use a big vise grip and clamp it enough so the bolt can turn roughtly, clean the crack with a wire brush, then with a rag and lots of acetone, then weld it up ( just a tig weld with no filler rod would be best) then remove the bolt and chase the thread..it will be stronger than new...

Very good, I will pass this along to my welders. I'm going to degrease the block this week and hopefully next week I can get this touched up.

Thanks.

This seems reasonable as well, but I just talked with the welders in the technical center and they said to bring it in and they'd weld it up no problem. Might as well do it right and not have to worry about it again!

I don't have any new pictures with the aluminum heads, front spoiler, etc. but here it is a couple summers back:

Kept as stock looking as possible. Lower intake shaved 3/8'ths to clear the stock hood, dual exhaust but only one tip showing in the stock location, stock interior...doesn't sound stock though!

weld it up. the dowel holes are the important part on the bellhousing.... far more important than a missing bolt. i,ve seen what happens with missing dowels, it gets ugly.
