I just bought this coilover kit, its supposed to be coilovers all the way around i payed a grand.

Ford Performance and Development / Mustang


Is that a bad deal. I just saw epics and they look much beefier. I dont know anything about suspension so...
What do you guys think?

I don't know anything about that company, I got full upr k-member kit with coilover and rear coilover I am getting it today.

Their CC plates are not ideal though....you need 4 bolt CC plattes for coilover setups.
Otherwise it doesnt seem too bad....but im no suspension guru either.

never heard of them. 1000 seems kinda high, especially for the included CC plates. i dunno, i would have gone with UPR or MM.

MM's coilover kits were all like... 1700, when i checked them last for a four corner coilover kit

Which one did you get, this is the Kenny Brown coilover setup that used to be around, I think...

There is a front kit and a 4 corner one. One is like $1200 and they other is $1800.

ya ive never heard of them. i woulda gone with mm or another quality company. and mm coilovers are pricy but well worth it. and 4 bolt cc plates are the way to go. i have mm coilovers on the front of mine with bilsteins all the way around. and it great. want them for the rear too but no money for them yet and want the panhard bar first so i can set the spring rates accordingly for suspension mods.

I have heard of KW before. They make coilovers for a lot of different vehilcles but they specialise in imports. Some miata guys I've talked to swear by them. They quality should be just fine but Iam unsure of the handling.

those plates are CRAP!!
they have no more camber adjustment than the stockers. only slotted for caster adjustment. 3 bolt plates are NOT what you want for a coilover setup either. it's not strong enough

Those are high quality peices. Made in germany or something. Do you know what variant they are? They have one through five I believe. I would go with a different caster camber plate like everyone said. They billet steedas are the ****. I really wanted FPD's front bumper, its so sick, but they only made them in fiberglass when I was looking into them and the company they had manufacture it went out of business so they were looking for a new supplier.

buy some MM plates and you'll be fine.

anything other than MM < crap.
take it from someone who does front end work everyday. MM is the BEST!!!!

KW makes quality coilovers (except for that top mount). If you paid 1000 for a KW coilover, you didn't get ripped off.

Well if im getting CC plates any other little knick knacks i should pick up from MM... with in reason as far as price goes
