Undercarriage question

Kind of a dumb question but...

I wanted to detail the undercarriage on my convertible. There is some scale around the trunk area. If I remove my fuel tank can I safely use a sand blaster in that area?

Yes, carefully. Make sure your fuel lines are well plugged and rinse everything in the area down first very well with a soapy water solution, then you're good to go.
