Hello! Long time lurker but first time poster. My name is Chuck and I have a 93 GT with the 5 speed. My question is-- I have some sort of aftermarket connection port that the PO has wired in and mounted under the steering wheel on the panel. It has 4 large wires of maybe 12 gauge but oddly all it does is splice in on the 18 gauge white wire with (pink?) red stripe coming from the ignition switch . Then it goes to a relay, and then out to the "connector". It looks as if you could plug something into it but cannot figure what it may have been since it obviously has something to do with the ignition. I'm going to remove it and repair the connection of the white w/ pink wire. Just wondering if anyone may have an idea of what it is/ was? Thanks in advance for any ideas. Always amazed by the knowledgeable people on this site. I have learned much here.
