I've always heard good things about pulleys freeing up horsepower, but should I be at all worried about any potential problems if I am using all my accessories (say with the heater on when its -30 here in Edmonton, or AC when its plus 30) or if I were to add a small subwoofer?

Secondly I think I've narrowed it down to the Saleen, Steeda or Roush, any opinions either way?

saleen is by far the most expensive. steeda and roush are similarly priced. i chose the roush pulleys. so far, no negatives, but i dont have any extra subs.

if you were idling, with all accessories on, it would most likely start to drain your battery. driving should be fine.

no matter which you choose, the write up in my signature will help you out. good luck.

I too have the Roush Pulleys, UDP do not have any affect on heat, I can affect A/C though. and with the stock shaker 1000 you will be fine on the charging issue. If you have an aftermarket high powered sound system with multiple amps and Subs DO NOT use UDP. other than that they are a great mod for the money.

I have the AVIC-D1 Navigation system it has built in power monitor guage and at Idle I still generate 13.2 volts, with stock pulleys I was at 13.3 no battery issues, the voltage regulator keeps up just fine

I just installed the BBK UDP's, and they are great. I would highly recommend them. The motor revs so much faster and smoother with them on. I wish that I had put them on the car quicker, but I left them in the garage for a while.

+1 Ain't that the truth, I shook my head at that when I took mine off. And laughed as I threw it into the dumpster.
