I am purchasing some march underdrive pulleys for my 95 gt. I was wondering what kind of new belt do I need to purchase since I'm sure the stock one will not fit. How long or what kind of belt do I need to purchase?

a new belt is not needed unless you are bypassing something because one pulley gets smaller, and one gets larger therefore canceling out any belt size changes.

I think mine was actually 80" or so. The ONLY real way to get an accurate measurement (even if it's 1" too short/long, it can cause squealing and shredding) is to take the old belt, cut it, and wrap it around the new routing, then mark where the two ends meet and measure it. That is THE BEST way of doing it. If you're leaving your smog pump on, then the stock belt will fit with the u/d's.

Don't you need a pulley puller to change underdrives, or am I mistaken?

nope. 9 bolts. 4 on the crank, 4 on the water pump, and one on the alt. you will need an impact gun to get the bolt off the alt.

Yep, and probably a swivel socket to fit it in there.

Little tip, loosen all the bolts with the belt on. Then take the belt off then take the rest of the bolts off the pulleys. You might need an air gun to take the bolt off the alternator.

when i installed my pullies, there was no way i was getting the stock belt on. it was way too tight. i dont know if the previous owner had put on a smaller one, but there was no way. so i actually just ended up buying a smaller idler pully b/c it was only like 5 bucks and the bearing was pretty bad on the stock one.
