I have a 97 Cobra, and underdrive pulleys is the last cheapest thing I can get for my engine. I was wondering if they're worth the money, or just a waste of time? My friend has them on his 96 GT and I couldnt tell a difference at all except his car just ran a little cooler then normal.

Yep, you should see about 5-10rwhp from them...I think they are a good bang for the buck mod...Get some Steeda's since they have the balancer built into the crank pulley...Plus then you can get a Steeda Timing Adjuster to bump up the timing a little...

And your friends car probalby should have ran a little hotter than it used to since the water pump isn't spinning as fast...but it's no big deal really...

Agree with above except I wouldn't waste the money on the adjuster. How much more timing can you dial into a stock Cobra? Good for GTs (running premium instead of regular), a waste on a Cobra IMO.
